Grown in the Yunnan Province of China, Pu-erh tea is known as the fermented wine of loose leaf tea. Despite its dark color, it is made from green tea leaves that are aged in a special process.
Our tea is shaped into a "bird's nest" cake making it easy to grab one cake, drop it in your teapot or water bottle, and pour hot water over to brew your tea. No tea ball or filter is required. Then top off with more water for a second brew.
Use hot boiling water, steeping time: 1-6 min.

Packed in a 3.25x2.25 in. black metal tin for easy storage. Store in a cool dry place. Just gets better with age.
